Come enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful Medina Lake home: Siesta Shores at Medina. *Although the lake is going down (about 35% full), our dock is in deep water and doesn’t have to be moved much. Church cove is one of the deepest coves on Medina. When looking at properties, if you have any desire to do lake activities, make sure you check with the owner before booking. Many docks have to be floated out a long way to stay in water, and water activities can be limited because of this. The house does get its water from a private well that supplies water for many of the homes in this area of Lakehills. Currently, we are on water restrictions due to problems with the well and pump. There is water, but the owner of the well is asking everyone to conserve water. This means that guests can still use water as necessary, but we are asking guests to take showers and not baths, and just try to conserve water as much as possible. Lastly, for your peace of mind, our house is professionally cleaned between each stay to include high touch points, like light switches and door knobs. Also, check-in procedure is contactless.

The property is located on Media lake. There is plenty to do on the water from hanging out on the dock, laying out on the water, you can rent a boat and park it while not in use at the dock. Lay out on the dock and take in the sun. Kitchen is complete redone with all the amenities you would need. Two tvs available for you to stream shows you would like to watch. There is also a state park, as well as private facilities nearby, that offer easy lake access for swimming, fishing, boat rentals and/or launching, kayaking, and hiking. Serenity House is approximately 3 miles from the center of Lakehills. Here you’ll find a grocery store, small restaurants and food trucks, gas stations, and other amenities. Our local favorite, the Backyard Bistro, is about 10 miles away. The 4 Way Bar and Grill and Bob's Burger Barn offer great bar food and, frequently, live music on the weekend. Red Cove Marina serves basic grilled food along with beautiful lake views. Please be sure to check out the "Neighborhood" section as there are many interesting activities and attractions within an easy drive. This waterfront home is located off the beaten path near the Red Cove Marina and Medina Dam. You'll have access to a private dock which is great for fishing, and accessing the kayaks and pedal boat. The upper & lower house decks are wonderful for entertaining and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The lower deck and grounds are a perfect area for playing corn hole, barbequing or just enjoying the scenery and wildlife. Dogs must be approved and fees paid before check in. The property is not fenced, but there is a gated dog run. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is extra sleeping space in the living area, a full size bunk bed and queen size sofa bed. The kitchen has a great view of the lake and dock, and plenty of space to cook meals. You can access the upper deck directly through the kitchen. The living room and game table area is nice for indoor family time. Wi-fi is available. Please keep in mind, this is a family home. Our home is not equipped for a large group of people or suitable for loud parties. This is a residential cove, and loud voices and music carry throughout. Photo ID required prior to check in. Note: Currently the lake level is low. Unfortunately Lake Medina is not a constant level lake. We still have water in our cove and around our dock, however, it may not be accessible by a motor boat in some areas at this time. Please use caution! You may contact the Red Cove Marina for boat launching, parking and boat docking prices. The Marina is located less than 1 mile from the house and is also visible from our dock/property. The next day, once you are rested and relaxed, you can start your day by kayaking the Medina River.
